always nice to see Christians on deviantart. it can be kinda scary in some of the dark art sections and red light districts, but its always nice to see others here too.
i came to a private christian high school in NC after a very rough middle school years in the worst area of town. thought it would be a new start with people that i can trust a bit more. i was however not a Christian at that point. i had gotten my family going to church and drastically changed their lives and the ways they raised me (atheistic evolution and science as a foundation) but i was unwilling to give up my ways. but when you spend that much time at school in a very strong Christian environment, you begin to wonder and ask questions. i began attending at the church that my high school was created from. it was a big jump from the 300 member methodist church i was used to to the huge 8000 member baptist church. but i was well accepted. over the course of the summer after my freshman year, i began to grow closer to Christ, and near the end of the summer i gave my heart to Him during a quiet evening service that my ADD wasnt allowing me to pay attention to (oops lol always a dreamer). i began spending nearly all of my time at church. 5 days a week for school, all saturday helping friends in the media department (sound, lights, video, etc.) and sunday morning service, then lunch with friends from church, then back to church for choir at 4 and evening service at 7. my senior year of high school, our class trip was a mission trip to costa rica. during the trip, we visited a place called Arenal. its a small village at the base of the Arenal Volcano. just outside of town is La Fortuna river with its beautiful 70+ foot high waterfall. my youth pastor happened to be one of the chaperones on the trip and i asked him to baptize me when we visited the waterfall. so the day came and he baptized me in the water just below the falls (random fact, the water is naturally 98% more pure than bottled water here in america)

finally hit the 500 mark. thank you all for helping me get here in such a short amount of time. hopefully i can keep it going and someday be above 1000 lol such simple dreams. oh well.thank you all again.

bgeats me, i have alot of favorites. the panoz lmp-1 roadster is nice, or the old classic imports, like the 1950-1960 german cars and italians. love classics but pretty much hate any american cars with only a few exceptions.

well i broke 350 goodie goody. Thanks to all who have helped me get there. i have been really getting a lot of pageviews lately but then i look at artists like *cryptorchid and see 6 digits and suddenly feel much worse. Oh well eventually i will have some more. Great job Julia.

I am doing a photo shoot today with ~ bluehollow and ~whisper1ngwinds may come too. so we shall see. ill post what i can on monday when i have access to my mac again. i forgot the power adapter for my PowerBook so i wont be on it at all and wont have photoshop . So i am stuck on one of my other machines. (stupid piece of crap comcrap*cough*compaq, excuseme)

The piece i am working on now is going to take a while. several hundred layers in photoshop and more than 500 stock photos all done in transparencies to amount to one big asymetrical interlaced collage. should be interesting. bit of a study in intersecting value and shading as well as cropping and portrait drawing.

oh i realized i have no friends listed. so here we go.
